­Today, President Obama, Vice President Biden, First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden launched “Joining Forces, a national initiative to support America’s Military Families.
The initiative aims to educate, challenge, and spark action from all sectors of our society –  citizens, communities, businesses, non-profits, faith-based ins­titutions, philanthropic organizations, and government – to   military families have the support they have earned. The above information is  comes directly from the website for Joining Forces, As a strong supporter of the military and a proud daughter of a World War II veteran, a seventeen year old Marine, James McCaw Sr, and the wife of a Navy sailor who served in Vietnam , Tom Yager, I say “bravo”!­­
Joining Forces Information Everyone can do something to help those who serve in the military for our country and there families.  In the past I have asked my readers, to check out organizations such as The Yellow Ribbon fund, Any Soldier.com and The  Homeless women veterans group!  Trace  Adkins is very dedicated to using his music to help those to serve our country by both entertains the troops and by raising money for them, such as the Wounded Warriors Project.  Please  check out Joining Forces, for ideas on how  you to can take on this cause.  I would like to thank the show “The Talk” for bringing this great announcement today to their viewing audience of which I was one !
