I saw the evening news last night, and was very concerned. I watched the story on C.B.S. about those serving our country who die on the war front from either suicide or those who die during training exercises in the military for United States. In both cases, the families of these people in the military, serving our country do not receive a letter of condolence from, the President of the United States. At this time, President Obama, according to this news report has his people looking in to changing the policy. I would love it, if American citizens, would contact the president and or their own congress representatives and let them know that the policy for condolence letters should also include all those who die while on active duty. Those who take their own lives on the war front, and those who die training for missions while in the United States military, should still have their service acknowledged and their families receive a condolence letter from our president. We have American citizens that are suffering emotional trauma from serving in war zones that unfortunately do make a choice to end their lives while serving in far off lands due to the stress they felt they can no longer could endure. The family of person lost to suicide while serving our country still feels the pain of the loss of their family member. Lost to the family, before that person could get the help he or she needed. As for those lost during training excercises, these people gave their lives in service for the United States also.To contact your congress representative please see the following link .https://writerep.house.gov/writerep/welcome.shtml
