That boy probably learned more taking care of his Mom than he’d ever learn @ school. Life lessons are the hardest to learn but these lessons are very valuable.

That boy deserves to walk at his graduation. My Mom died of cancer. If I had the chance to care for her, I would have put her first.

His graduation class should pay it forward. All of them should refuse to walk unless he walks. Stick together on this. Stand up and be heard!

I am a Social Worker and I say, “Let Fish Walk”. He has already earned a degree in survivial along side his mother. When you look a all he has accomplished and what he did when he was not attending, I cannot understand how those do not count toward his dimploma! He has been an adult in teen shoes, for goodness sakes. I say the Principal and the School Board need to convene and grow with Fish. 🙂 You go Fish!!! Proud to all you a fellow human being.

Maybe Susan B Komen can fund a charter bus to protest. Hold a lottery for seats. I not only want him to walk, but his mother also. She deserves a certifcate to. Not because she fought and is winning the battle with cancer, but because she raised a son to have beliefs in this nasty( I me my world) of ours. Fish will walk!!!!!

The school board is afraid of change. Rules are rules. Lot’s of our commanders and chiefs have broken rules, not to mention the secret service recently. Our President who won 4 years ago said, YES WE CAN (CHANGE). Make that change!!!!!!

FYI – The school has relented – He will be able to walk at graduation with his class.

He has earned the right to walk with his class in more ways than one. Let his Mom award him with his certificate as he crosses the stage.
